Terms and conditions

Preliminary article

The conditions of sale and transport are deemed to be fully accepted by the customer during the validation of the order, whether for the customer himself or a third party. They are fully transferable and applicable to the beneficiary of the service called 'The passenger'. When you place an order on behalf of other people, you must ensure that they accept and comply with the general conditions of Marrakech Ballooning.These General Conditions of Sale and Transport apply to all commercial relations between Marrakech Ballooning and any customer or passenger. They also apply to transport free of charge.

The electronic flight ticket

Is a contract between the carrier, the customer and / or the passenger. An identity document may be requested upon boarding for each passenger. Any substitution of passenger name or any transfer of ticket by its holder is prohibited. The ticket is not refundable or exchangeable unless the cancellation option has been purchased at the time of booking. (date modification, refunds, etc.) can only be done if the insurance is taken out and up to 3 days before the flight date.

Validity of the electronic ticket

The ticket is valid for 1 flight for one person and can be used on the date indicated when booking.

Prices

Prices are in Dirhams and subject to change without notice. They include balloon flight, passenger transportation by vehicle from the meeting point to the flight locations, return after landing to the meeting point, VAT and compulsory insurance.

Payment

Full payment is required when booking on our website.

Online payment

To pay your order, you choose the suitable payment method among those offered by ballooning at the payment page.
In this case, the delivery of the transaction for debiting your account is made within one day of the date of the delivery confirmation.
Your Multi-channel payments are secured by the Interbank banking center (CMI) which offers a fully secure payment service.
The Customer guarantees ballooning that he/she has the necessary authorizations to use the payments method chosen by him/her, during the validation of the Purchase Order.
In case of payment by credit card, the provisions related to the illegal use of the means of payment provided in the agreements concluded between the client and the issuer of the card, between ballooning and its banking establishment applies.

Proof of transactions paid by credit card

The data recorded by the CMI on the Multi-channel payment platform on behalf of ballooning is a proof of all the commercial transactions between the client and ballooning.

Reservation of the date of the flight

The choice of the date of the flight must be made at the time of the reservation on the site.

Confirmation for the flight

You will receive confirmation of your flight immediately after booking. Transport information will be sent to you the day before your flight in the afternoon by email for an appointment with one of our vehicles. It is your responsibility to find and get to the meeting point on your own. Any delay more than 10 minutes at the meeting point will be considered as a “ no show “ and therefore non-refundable.

Cancellation by the Customer

100% refund up to 30 days before the reservation date.
50% refund up to 15 days before the reservation date.
25% refund up to 7 days before the reservation date.
Any cancellation within 7 days before the reservation date will be charged at 100% and does not give rise to any refund or postponement of date possible.

Cancellation by the pilot - Flight safety

The flights are made only in good weather conditions, light wind, no rain or fog, no stormy conditions. The hot air balloon is an aircraft subject to air rules, published by the Civil Aviation Authority, and should respect restrictions published by the manufacturer and the operator. The pilot-in-command is bound to respect them. For these reasons, he may decide to change the take-off site, to cancel or to stop the flight at any time. If the cancellation takes place before takeoff, the ticket is fully refunded or postponed. Any flight that started is considered having been completed even though shortened by decision of the pilote. Marrakech Ballooning cannot be hold responsible for the various costs incurred following a cancellation (journeys, hotel, meals..).

Boarding conditions

Comfortable clothing and flat, sports or walking shoes are recommended. Each passenger must be in good physical condition.

Insurance

The insurance covers each passenger under the civil liability linked to transport for consideration for a coverage following the regulations in force. Damage to personal items , clothing, mobile phones, cameras, internal or external medical equipment are not insured.

Medical aptitude

The practice of hot air ballooning is accessible to anyone in good physical condition. Any serious medical problem remains confidential. Only a doctor is qualified to judge the aptitude to make a balloon flight, the passenger must therefore declare to the captain any medical problem likely to represent a risk for the practice of a free flight in a hot air balloon. Anyone under drugs or alcohol will not be allowed on board. In this case the ticket will be considered as used.

Children

Minor children must be accompanied by an adult.

Partnership

The service can be carried out in partnership with another company also approved by Civil Aviation for the air transport of passengers.

Right of withdrawal

The customer does not have the right of withdrawal except if he subscribes to the cancellation insurance at the time of the reservation, allowing him to claim for refund up to 3 days before the booked flight date.

Right of access and rectification

The personal data are used to process your order and are crucial for the completion of your flight. You have a right of access and rectification for this data. When booking, the buyer must in particular provide his telephone details, his e-mail address and his WhatsApp contact if necessary, to ensure the smooth running of the services. This data is not used for other purposes but the buyer is nevertheless informed that he can register for free with an organization responsible for managing the list of objections to canvassing by telephone and computer.
